During the years more and more people have come to kitesurf and learn to kitesurf in boracay. With hundred of kiters in the same bay it makes the spot very crowded and difficult for beginners to learn to kitesurf in. There are basically kitesurfers riding everywhere so you will have to wait for your turn to practice, which wastes your lesson time.
There are also very many sea urchins on the bottom of the sea that hurts a lot to step on. The schools will provide you with booties but if you fall in a shallow part and are unlucky, these urchins will pierce parts of your body.
